StroopWafels! The tasty snake waffles from Holland

To be honest, this is not the first time I'm eating StroopWafels. But the ones i consumed years back was from Amsterdam and this, pictured, was from Holland's countryside.

Big difference, my friend. Amsterdam's felt like some oversweeten mass-commercial cola canda and this unique one felt just right. It's a gift from my relatives.

So what are stroopwafels made from? Essentially its a thick caramel syrup sandwiched by thin Dutch waffles.

I don't think they sell it here in Singapore :(

  9. Hi all, I was also looking for a good stroopwafels in Singapore for ages. My friend recommended a relative of hers, apparently she has been making them for sale. They are homemade & out of this world. Soo yummy!! all natural ingredients, not like those factory imported ones.
Packaging also very nice. I ordered for my son's birthday gift out presents for the kids, they can custom made to smaller pieces with cute cute packaging. Love it!

  10. Thanks for the info, I ordered once from Hooked on wafels, coz they only baked upon order, there are minimum order required, and must pre-order in advance.
But, I have to email twice coz, Once i email them, but they mentioned they did not received it. Weird!! maybe it happened sometimes, you know.. web server can screw up at times.
But, no regret really. You can tell that they are reallllllly freshly baked! Can't beat anything freshly baked.. love it!
